Squeaky disc
Squeaky disc
Hopefully a quick question...
I have a squeaky disc on my front right ATM. It started as only happening when turning left at low speeds but seems to be getting worst and is starting to happen in straight lines as well.
Any suggestions on what could be causing it? I've had brake fluid suggested but wanted to see if you guys have had anything?

Is the caliper releasing properly? Are you on braided lines?

standard brake lines, caliper is releasing ok. I'm not sure if the disc could be a little warped tho. When it's up on the jack you can spin the wheel and it feels like it's pinching a tiny bit on certian places.
Don't know why this would make the disc sqeak when turning left tho
@ merc, sometimes. Your going to say warped disc aren't you?

A1ex - I had a bizarre issue (and went through two sets of front calipers before I found it) where the OEM brake lines had broken down inside, and a flap of rubber in there was causing a one way valve. When I braked, the caliper went on, when I lifted off the brake the caliper would take ages to reset. It also squealed when I turned in one direction as the flap would be activated by the pipe flexing. Easy check for this here is to see if you can reset the piston.
I solved the problem with a set of HEL lines
