With filament brake light bulbs, and the LED spoiler brake light, the spoiler always lights first. It's only a fraction of a second quicker, but you notice it, and this bothers me. So I bought some LED brake light bulbs. Sadly, this triggers the 'brake lamp' warning circuit, and so, I did this:

I also have the quick react/brighter stop lights and its still noticeable the lag..

What LED bulbs are good for brake lights then? I've returned 2 sets of CANBUS LED's as they either didn't work as tail lights, or they worked for only 1 or 2 brake applications before breaking/blowing...

The clue's in the incandescence; it takes the wire a few milliseconds to warm up to glow white hot.

LEDs emit light from a sub-atomic level and it's near-instantaneous on.

I dunno why your LEDs blow so easily; I think a lot are badly-made crap.

They came in the post today!!

I've tried to fit them and they fit, but I can't push them all the way home.
The body is too wide for the housing.

Back to eBay I think, and get the correct ones.

Okay, hopefully I've ordered the correct ones now.

Is there anywhere on the Prelude that takes the W16W type bulbs?
I doubt it, but one of you bright sparks may know.

It's the same connectors anyway, will depend if they fit OK with them having the larger top part. Can only try I suppose!

It'd be great if they fit the map lights. Mine are quite dim.
