Why are there so many bloody autos!

Post by nickyboy » Sun Jul 29, 2012 3:54 pm

First of all, i'm not dissing the auto, it's just not what i'm after. But why are so many automatic?

Every car maker makes an automatic, but not to the same ratio as the Prelude.

It's good to open up a car to it's maximum revs every now and then, especially VTECs. Can you actually thrash a DOHC VTEC engine?

Bouncing off the limiter constantly yes, but only an idiot would do that.
