Beautiful 5th gen. Very choice mods along your way and it's all paid off very well indeed. 8)

Glad you transferred your profile updates over, I know it's a pain. Still debating on doing my old profile to reference to.

Keep it up bud.

Cheers,

Rob

Very nice.

I'd recommend a K&N typhoon & decat (though this may be an issue if it's an a8) to let it rev a bit cleaner & give the car some aural prescence ;)

Thanks guys for the comments - Real pleased as to how the car has turned out.

chrismc - Not keen on changing the airfilter but i do miss the air intake roar of an after market filter. I just love the OEM look

Was looking to remap the lude but the costs can go out fo control

Thanks again all

Maybe go with a K&N panel filter & remove your resonator then? OEM looks but a louder roar.... ;)

Thanks chrismc - I wil look into a panel filter K&N or similar. I am assuming they dont make many aftermarket panel filters for the 5th Gen. I remember seeing the resonator box once when the front bumper was off last year and saw some valve of some kind. Would that have to remain? Would it affect the cars peformance if the resonator box or that valve is removed?

most filter companies make filters for the 5g k&n are good the resonator comes off as one unit but you do have to loop/block the vacuum line that goes to it

Great example 8-)

I think most with the A8/TypeS intake use K&N, I think Carrisima has a Green Cotton (??) one.

Very impressive.

I just did my timing belt and changed to manual tensioner, glad I did now.

Did you have any of the oil seals changed with the belt?

Would you recommend your brake setup? Mine really quite lacking to the point of being scary sometimes, I have already replaced the brake fluid.

Thanks dude for the comments.
Yep, i think the balance shaft oil seal was replaced on mine. Performance Autoworks performed the job and Rich mentioned that oil seal was required.

My brake setup is a million times better than when i purchased the car. The brake fluid had never been changed and real calipers were siezing like no ones buisness.

The DS2500 pads really do give a nice bite. I def recommend getting them.

Its definately a step up from stock. I didnt want to upgrade to slotted or dimpled discs so everyone was telling me to get the DS2500 pads.

It does stop harder and firmers. Of course it can be improved on but i wanted it OEM as possible. By over hauling all components that in itself would be a vast improvement
