Runners - drive slowly so you can maximize precision wing mirror contact.

cyclists -slow enough to ensure your passenger can lean out and shove them over.

horses- stealthily slow down until just
behind them then blast drokk out of the horn. or alternatively judge distance to horse and ensure just when beside horse vtec cuts in and Bbbwwaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh ensuring maximum horse rider carnage

im joking obviously

Basic rule of thumb is treat them as if they take up the same space as a car.

i think there should be a new rule, give them as much space as they pay tax, insurance, mot

generally give them plenty of space if i see them! no lights and no high viz in winter seems to be really popular in norfolk at night on main roads !

Yes

If the cyclist is a gentleman's sausage and decides he's going to ride home after work/whatever on country roads or main roads with no hi-vis clothes, then I generally pass them like a gentleman's sausage. My personal favourite is the genius who wears green, or even better--the fishers that wear camo and ride along a tall hedge at sunset.

Horses, I am cautious of whatever the situation. I've seen an A5 leaflet in the road freak out a horse. A few years back I was hooning as they say (using this term loosely as I was in a 1.3 Swift) through some country roads, came around a bend and a drokking Transit was stopped on one side of the road talking to a horserider on the other side, still have no idea how I managed to get between them at ~national speed limit without clipping either.

Runners, drokk 'em. If you want to run on the road when there are plently of perfectly suitable footpaths, pavements, parks and gyms, then you're an utter penis. Hi-vis or not if you don't move then you will be passed with minimal care.

EDIT: To be relevant to your question though, if they're suitable dressed and know what they're meant to be doing, then I pass them considerately.

I was always told a doors length distance between you and a pedestrian cyclist and you dont have to slow down just do what appears sensible according to the conditions.
horses are a different kettle of fish always roll past giving them the same room as if they were a parked car but then i like horses

I need to teach my girlfriend the VTEC game. It's basically when you're in a supermarket car park or traffic going slowly and you make the VTEC noises as if you were racing pedestrians. She already goes PSSSSHHH when I change gear, even though I'm not turbs.
