I need a OBD reader for pre 2000 diesel cars. where from?

this little lot came from a volvo main dealer but does almost any car but cost in excess of £4500 second hand so unfortunately i cant stick it in the post for you to borrow but i would willingly plug it in for you free of charge if you were to venture down this way.
having said that it would probably be cheaper for a local garage to do it for you bearing in mind that i normally charge a measly £40 for this service.

something like that, its a hell of a piece of kit mind that scared the jobby out of me the other week. i was doing the clutch bite point settings on my mrs tiptronic smart car whilst sat in the passenger seat turn ignition on press ok and it starts the engine engages 1st gear and lets out the clutch to its bite point then depresses it again all on its own. scary when your sat in the wrongseat and have no control over whats going on i can tell you.

looks like i have the cable and hopefully the disc coming. otherwise im going to change the fluid, take the breaks apart, hit everything with a hammer and reassemble.

if this does not work i will go to a garage

the car is telling me its not safe to drive so there is no chance of me getting over to you guys though i appreciate the offer

The Vol-Fcr software should see you right man. Took me a long time to find it all and get the right cable etc. Works flawlessly though
