Post by prelude_h22 » Wed Aug 22, 2012 10:40 pm

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone has had a honda Latching OEM switch fitted here? (circled in red)

I am looking to re-wire something here and not keen using any random switch and want to keep it OEM as possible if i can.

If so which one did you fit?

Cheers All

don't want to thread jack  but in the 4th gen we have a little vent/switch hole in the same place, but in my ukdm it was just a blanking cover that i was going to put the starter button in.
but in the jdm it is a little slatted grill and behind it is a large loom of some sort?
does any one know what it is for and can it be removed? so i can have my starter button there?

JDM cars have digital climate control sensor there, so in the UKDM there's only a shity blanking plate.

You can put a S2000 starter button there. I've seen it and it look nice and OEM there.

The double bank of switches from a 3rd gen will fit there: is that the sort of mod' you have in mind?

The EP3 has the same thing in the same place, I put my S2000 starter button in there.

Just noticed you have the EP3 steering wheel too :)
