I think I'm going to clean it all up, polish the strips, get some new clips and possibly spray some dynax in the channel.
Then I'll refit it all together never to be touched again. :evil:

Bennyboy, I have a Thule roof rack that doesn't need the strips removed for it to fit. :?

I used Autosol metal polish to remove the gribble. It had just enough abrasive properties to make short work of it. :P
Then a quick layer of AutoGlym Bumper Care. :ugeek:
