Phew :D

I had the Civic Coupe in the local spray shop over Christmas, for repair work. Took nearly a month to get it back, but like your guys, they'd done a great job ;)

Teething troubles now!
1 on opening the sunroof to clean the dust off under the roof wind deflector it will now not close completely and lock down. On examination the guy must have put a tub of grease on the runners and guides including the sprung one that moves backwards and forwards. Cleaned that off and oiled it it still does not work! took thr roof wind deflector off in case that was fouling it. it did not and I have lost one of the screws! I also flattened the battery pratting with it.

2 the oblong opening that once housed the remote? is missing so I now have a hole in the drivers door handle!

3 the black plastic surround on the windscreen was removed to spray the car and the clips were missing at the bottom by the wing so it was bonded on. Ok thats not to bad BUT at the top of the windscreen it is a perfect fit against the glass both sides but the part
against the roof and body both sides sticks out about a 1/4" showing the white plastic clips I am loath to try and push or fiddle it in just in case I break the screen!
His paint job is faultless though!

Garage tomorrow to see if he can sort it out and buy a new battery obviously the sprayer is out of his depth on doing this!
I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

my car changed from black to yellow with the windows in and if you pulled up a screen rubber you would never know. massive trick with a mcdonalds type drinks cup that takes a while but is absolutely fabulous(not my trick mind). some people know how to do it and others just pretend they can. we pay tidy money to those that can do it and get robbed by those who just pretend. i work for myself by myself because i cant find somebody to work for me that is good enough to satisfy my fussiness. its my way or the highway and they all end up up the highway.TRAM ROAD MOTORS a name you can trust to get it right. sorry for blowing my own trumpet but it pisses me off when such a simple task can end in a nightmare.
