brake upgrade

need to upgrade my front brakes. whats the biggest i can fit behind a set of 16 inch wheels . also any recomendations on brake kits. cheers Jon

ATR calipers and discs are probably the biggest you can get behind 16s . 300mm discs with twin pot calipers

atr ftw imo. nothing else will offer the same performance than spending 5x as much. imho...
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

What these two have said. 300mm ATR setup with some good pads & discs. I've had mine under two different sets of 16's now, it's tight mind

cheers fellas. so i need the ATR caliper and carriers and then i can ude the ATR discs aswell but have them drilled to fit 4 stud. cheers jon

Yes mate thats what you need, I managed to find some on accordr.org in the breakers yard section. Luckily I got hold of discs and pads as well so fitted the lot.

just brought a pair of accord type r calipers and carriers for the lude . i had a search for 300mm 4thgen discs but came up with nothing . so if i buy a set of uprated accord discs and have them drilled will this be ok. cheers jon

I think centre bore size is different between 4g & ATR.
I utilised a set of ep3 discs and had them redrilled.
