4th gen exhaust undershields

eeerm just a quick question, as mine is still attached to my other centre section, is that a bad thing as it does come close to the fuel tank

how hot does it actually get

I think there are 2 separate shields, one permanently wrapped around the exhaust, you never tend to find them on aftermarket exhausts so should be OK without that one; and one that attaches to the car itself. Just to clarify I am after the ones that bolt to the floor.

Thats the one's I have. Oh and there is a small extra plate which I left in place which bolts near to the side of the fuel tank, but I'm sure it's not that big a deal. It does expose other areas which will need undercoating, also the handbrake cable too, but that's well sheathed.

All sorted now, a big thanks to Rob (Nuc) who has sorted me out the shields for free, and they'll be passed on via the LG express to JAE this weekend via Gayno (big thanks too).
