The saga continues not just the Soarer(seperate thread) There is what is called DA marks whatever that is now the polish the bodyshop applied has worn off. This is the front wing and rear wing on one side. Apparantly that will polish out. I don't think so but stand to be corrected. If it does not they can bloody spray it again. Also the goose bumps that most lude spoilers get are also coming back.

Well ill be amazed if they can polish it out buddy, i just spent all morning remopping a car that had just been painted and mopped by a bodyshop, i had to get rid of the swirl marks they had left in the paint from using a high cutting compund and there were still da marks in that, have you already taken it back

Paul, it will most likely be marks from a rotary (rather than a DA) and using an aggressive compound/polish, not working it enough and not finishing off with a refining polish.

Does it look like holograms like this

If so, they should polish out.

If there are tiny circles under the clearcoat, then it will be sanding marks in the filler or undercoat coming through. That can't be polished out, it will need to be taken right back and start again.

Is this meet still on for Sunday and are you going? If I can make it, I'll have a look at it for you and see how it is. I'm no expert, but I have a good idea.

Tiny circles on the front wing and a hazy bloom on the rear wing and sanding marks. Not sure about Sunday as I am not to good at the moment.

Let me know. I've got a stinking cold and my tooth split in half last week, but is not getting fixed till next Thursday so I feel like jobby too.

But if I have reason to make an effort and help the lovely Paul out, then I might make an effort!

Hmmm...marts will be getting done again, probably at my work.

Filler and primer can sink after a few weeks if it hasn't been cured with heat before painting.

No wax on fresh paint for at least 2 months.
