Hello, just came across this post, I am a bit confused here. I replaced the top right hand horn button the other week and I had to remove the centre part of the steering wheel as the button is held in by a screw at the rear so no way is the button a push fit in, you have to remove the three screws at the back of the steering wheel, hope this helps, my car is 1993 non airbag.

dont know about the top buttons, mine is at the bottom left, when it fell out there wasnt any screws in there, just clicks into place, maybe the top buttons are different. mine is a 1992 jdm bb4, a very early one, infact one of the first ones made :D
