yeah the 2.0 litre will fit have a look at the engine gearbox threads there are a few threads with all the gearboxs listed with all there ratios

It's being fitted into a vw polo 6n and being used as road/drag car I'm going to be going down the turbo route once its all up and running ect.. Ill get the build up on here :)

Hello and welcome, Not sure if the 2.0 box will fit, you may be better off just getting a close ratio box. As for the swap to manual, my advice is phone a friend to help because its the biggest muffin in the world on your own on a driveway in the rain :lol: :lol: Looking back II wish I had of unpluged the wire harness and pulled the engine out to do this job, would of been so much easier to do it that way but noooooo, I had to make it 10 times harder for myself :stupid:

The engine will be out when I do the swop. What box is close ratio and what car can I get them off??

the code on my gear box is M2p4 which is the non lsd box, same ratio box as teggy ATR or there is the M2B4 which is the LSD close ratio box. will have a look there is a guide somewhere explaining the different codes.

If you want a close ratio box. look into H2B conversions
B series gearboxes from civics and integras have alot more close ratios.
But they're not a straight fit to H series engines but you can get a a H2B plate that makes them compatible
