Re: K4MR411's 2.2VTi 5th Gen
Just an update on the profile guys.
To start things off, a picture of the car

Next... my dyno printout

212BHP, which isnt so bad i guess. At first i thought WTF!?!? but after driving the car on the road i was really impressed. it feels so much smoother and more responsive, with more torques
Although, still cant really figure out at the top end why it starts to slack off. Mark at Elite said it would have something to do with the airflow but is still uncertain. Anyways after lots of tweaks and fuel it made 212bhp.
I'm happy with the car, the vtec crossover was lowered to 5000RPM and now limits at 8500RPM. Oh yeah.. the vtec snap is much more aggressive now
Not sure what you guys think, afterall everyone was predicting between 230-240BHP
Videos and pictures of the Dyno run to come..

The big questions would be what pistons do you have and what airbox do you have?
Lower compression pistons won't make as much power, stock airbox and resonator will restrict the top end, especially at 8500 rpm. When I had my work done I had the type s air box and resonator installed and that was causing a restriction above about 7500rpm for 228bhp.
What cams you running?

Re: K4MR411's 2.2VTi 5th Gen
All the internals are stock. It is a h22a8 engine and it has a AEM V2 induction kit. I got a Fujitsubo manifold (Thanks Dino) installed aswell. Could be anything that wud cos the restriction, altho im thinking it mite have something to do with the exhaust system. It was tuned using a P28 with Hondata S300.
Thanks Rob
Thanks Rob
