halifax loans

Post by Ted » Fri Oct 19, 2012 6:32 pm

Found myself a nice 350z that I'm half interested and tapped into Google for some loan payment examples . If I were to borrow £6995 over 4years I would pay £209 a month. If I borrowed £7000 I would only have to pay £172 a month.

so base rate is 0.5% - that's a pretty good mark-up for them.

I hate Banks!! :x

unsecured lending has always been expensive and smaller amount incur higher interest rates
pretty big jump between 9 and 20% though.

I've bought my last 3 cars on 0% with my Virgin credit card - every time the 0% ends they
offer me another 12 months! :o

Forget it! Banks do not give out personal loans anymore they only advertise them so they can be in on the next round of quantitive easing, seriously I would forget it and look for alternative means of finance. :|

They do lend but only to very low risk. My missus just got a loan for 15k as i said above, Id be lucky if my own mum would lend me 10 quid

It was just a Google search for a rough guide that shocked me . At first I tapped in 6k and was then shocked that the repayments were less per month for 7k only needed 6 but somebody would be a fool not to borrow more. Being self employed its not easy to borrow anyway.

I borrowed at just the right time I think, before everything went tits up. I'm a selfie and they were disappointed that I didn't want 7k, but then I did tell a few porkies.
