Fu*king paypal scammers..!!

Post by Danni22 » Wed Oct 31, 2012 12:49 am

I just need to vent!! Basically at the start of September I was contacted by a lad in the US interested I bits I was selling and agreed to ship them if he covered the cost, no problem, sent via electronically tracked Royal mail so I new when it arrived and so it did. Now last night I had an email off paypal saying he had tried to oped a case but it was closed as it was 45days after the purchase, but Iv not had another email saying there is a hold on my account for the purchase and have held my paypal account so I'm not £500 in the red and an item down!!

Iv got 10days to respond and Iv my a clue how to attack this!! My first ever major problem in years!! Iv got to dig out the receipt..!

Where do I stand I'm sure they cannot open a case if it was over 45days old :/

ARGHHHHH SCAMMERS!!!!!

i would spend £5 and get a phone card before you call, it might be cheaper then using your contract...

I hate when people do this. A couple people i know have had this happen to them. When ever your selling to someone you dont know you have to provide tracking, and get a signature confirmation. That you can prove he got it and have a signature on file.

My worry is it was electronically tracked I don't think it will be signed for :/

Paypal are a bunch of wannabe-bankster c unts. It's unfortunately a risk you take when using them.
