leaking oil

Leaking oil from engine. Is it a big job to fix

where are you seeing the oil ? how much oil are we talking about ? get the engine steam cleaned then you will see where its coming from,
If its a lot of oil could be the balance shaft seal, that would appear leaking down near the crank pulley and all over the bottom of the sump.

depends which side is leaking - if its cambelt side then like mercutio said if its gearbox side then it could be a number of things-if its at the back and dripping onto the downpipe then it will be the oil cooler oring. ive had leaks at all these points and replaced them all. The seals themselves dont cost much.

Its seems to be a good leak. dont really no were its comeing from its all over the engine when u look up from the ramp. mybe get it steamed like been said

It's a needle in a haystack if it's all over. Could be you've had a bad leak and it's gone everywhere while driving or you have numerous leaks. Start with a clean and then see where fresh is coming from. There's a few common areas, most are easy fixes, some a little more to it.
