Yes but it has to be bloody cold.

I used WD40 to de-ice my locks a few years back when we had the really bad snow.

You should apply rubber & silicone lubricant to all seals (& rubber bushes!) regularly - it helps reduce the infernal Honda squeaks in cold weather.
