So my next question, are all Lude MCs the same size?
4th/5th compatibility?
not 100% sure about 4th and 5th gen compatibility but there are differences between abs/non abs models. the non abs has a 15/16th m/c where as the ABS has a 1" m/c! you want the latter ! ;)

Is that the one-way-valve-on-a-bit-of-tube one, or the connect-to-a-tyre-one?

I have the former.

I found the tyre easy bleed didn't have the right cap for the prelude, so I've modded a spare cap and I'll trial it out tomorrow.

If you need a new mc, I bought one on eBay and found the ports exit on the wrong side for some reason! The insides can be swapped into your origional and as good as new again with the eBay seals ;-)

Right, MC now changed, and pedal is exactly the same.
New MC came off a working car, was bench bled, and all hooked back up ok.

There is absolutely no pedal resistance, other than the spring that returns the pedal.
In the footwell, all I can see is a plunger that goes into the firewall. Where does this go to?

Any ideas?

Have you got standard or braided hoses?

If standard, has one of them popped, so when you press the pedal all it's doing is inflating like a balloon, instead of transferring the fluid to the calipers.
