34 years old and have been a Lude owner for 11 years. A close friend drives a BMW 330d and he thinks it's the bee's knees, however, it bores me. I try to explain to him that it's a car aimed at photocopier sales men. It has no style or panache, nothing to get excited about at all, especially when he has to take it to a BMW dealer and gets charged about £100 just to change a headlight bulb.

I'm 22, will have had my Prelude a year in May. Before the Prelude I had an Audi A4, then an Accord SE Executive, then a Mk2 Golf. I've still got everything bar the Audi. I've also had to buy a Citroen Xsara HDi estate as I was getting raped at the fuel pumps. And I'm currently driving a new Jazz Si as my company car.
Quite a mixed bag of cars for a 22 year old

Gorgon, you are clearly eccentric enough to be allowed to own a 'Lude and you are most coirtainly welcome!
I'm nearly 50 and the sort of TDS Prunkmobiles a'Luded to by Lambpie bore me sh itless and always have. I prefer heroic failures with true innovative spirit and that are above all, great fun to drive. Hence the pile of old Hondas & the odd Toyota cluttering the drive.
The closest I got to a tin box looked like a Lada but had a twin-cam, five cogs and four-wheel disc brakes at a time when such things were the work of the Devil. It was great fun surprising the Mr. Cleans in their Chavaliers & SeaAreas.
I suspect out eldest 'Lude driver ceteris paribus still would have been LJK Setright, who would be 81 now and was frequently considered a tad eccentric by the great unwashed...
