Fuel tank for a 98' ASAP!

just put pics up in lude profiles. i have no idea lol. its splil right along the seam. risking my life smoking in the car, bloody stinks!

I had the same thing happen with my old Celica , i had to run it very low on petrol to keep it below the seam untill i found a replacement.
When i had it fitted the whole filler tube from the filler cap just disintergrated

it was a very rusty car underneath

yeah i can only put in a tenner and its still stinking and leaking everywhere! mot was due last week though so really need to find something or it will be good bye license for me

See if there's anywhere that will reskin fuel tanks.

I paid £80 for a reskin and it has a life times guarantee, I got it done in Hartlepool......bit of a treck for you

Shippig should not cost more than 35 pounds to Scotland.

I see in manual how to remove - if it is easy and if it's bolt on I can sell you mine from type S what I;m currently breaking

From what I saw, it looks like the tank is held on by two metal straps which are held on by four bolts.

The difficulty in posting the tank is making it safe.

Fumes + enclosed vessel + spark/heat = bomb

5% LEL iirc, maybe less for petrol!
