My house was broken into last night :-(

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Bit of an update.

Alarm now installed, shock sensors on downstairs windows, baseball bat by bed side. New patio door being fitted Friday, I will fit shock sensors to that too.

Have a lead too, it's come to light that some dodgy bastards in an old black Mercedes with tinted windows was seen by a neighbour for 4 nights in a row parking on the street and stalking the area out.
The pub at the top of the street has cctv of these 2 homos in this merc, police are trying to work on getting a license plate fRom the video.

Don't use a bat because it's then classed as a weapon.

Use something you'd ordinarily have around the house. Something like a hammer or a knife would be better, hammer = left out from DIY, knives are the usual thing people go for. It needs to be something you'd be able to justify in court. Bat by your bed will get you nothing but trouble.

Advice I got from a top Met cop

Although any weapon could easily be taken off you and used on yourself.

jesus mate im glad you and your mrs didnt have to confront the wankers! glad your both ok! had the same happen to me last august, my mrs was so terrified that we had to move house! the annoying thing is i bloody know i saw the fuckers sat outside in a van just as i was leaving the house to take my daughter to soft play :(

anyway, atleast its pushed you to get security measures in place, as for the baseball bat thing, how could a thief prove that you've beaten them with a bat instead of any other household item? i sleep with a bat by my bed too and would gladly accept any punishment id receive for using it on some scummy piece of jobby entering mine and my family's home.

Lots of ways bris! Blood splatter, impact marks, material residue etc. etc., if they can pin murderous rape on people from dry cum in a 20 year old corpse I think they can pin you to a bat ;) We don't live in the dark ages any more where witnesses were needed. Still, of course these people deserve what's coming, all the better if you can give them a hiding with nothing coming back to you.

I saw a documentary the other day about some mad guy that bought a missile silo and converted it into an LSD palace. Long story short one of his girlfriends grassed him to the DEA, he got away with it by delegation of responsibility to his chemist, then this girl went on the run for 3 years. He caught up with her and her then boyfriend, spent days in a hotel with them injecting them with all sorts of jobby. DMT straight to the testicle. You could always try that
