Nah, if the CCA's are gone, it's new battery time. You can replenish voltage, but not current.
I'd take the Honda one (and fit it myself) if it was me.

You could try a battery conditioner to de-sulphate the plates, but it's probably f ucked.
Pick up a new one from your friendly Honda dealer. If you leave a charger connected, the ECU won't need to re-learn & your radio won't lose its codes.
Connect it to the +ve on the alternator & the engine block & it won't get in your way.

Update time..
I went to Honda this morning and picked this up for £59 (including christmas discount!!)

Opened it up and found all this stuff...

I hoovered all the crap off the battery, fitted it, used Supermarine Blues charger tip to save stereo presets ..et voilà, problem solved!!
Thanks, everyone, for your assistance

Sticky starter solenoid is my best guess then.
Probably no bad thing you got a new battery anyway, if it was old and was turning over very slowly as you said.

I've had a bit of a similar problem lately on my wagon.
Try this and see if it's the same.
When you turn the key and it doesn't turn over, just hold it in that position for around 3-5 seconds and see if it then fires up.
With mine Sometimes it fires up straight away, other times there's a delay. I do that and that works. Only seems when it's been very cold.
So I'm guessing the starter soleniods on the way out, or a relay to the starter.

this is exactly what happened on my old lude.
this seems to get progressively worse, taking three then four turns of the key etc
it turned out it was the starter, might be just the solenoid on yours but on mine it was totally gone
