Is anyone else a prepper here?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

recurve mate. myself and the missis want to get into horseback archery and rules state only traditional recurve are allowed. Bit more skill, bit less power but cool as drokk either way :D

I have a stockless 200lb draw xbow. kinda like a mossberg pump action shotgun feel to it but a xbow. thats for home invasion defence

the recurve to provide cover as my missis rides off to safety ;)

The only true bow ;-) I've been shooting for years now, very rewarding. I have a Petron S3 which is basically a re-badged Browning. Alu/carbon arrows FTW 8-)

recurve bows are great i did a little japanese archery when i was a lot younger it helps with all shooting/archery because of the breathing/mental exercises

Not a prepper but I have a back pack under the stairs with a torch, matches, pair of gloves, hat, 4l of water, cereal bars, first aid kit, wire, multitool, rope one of those foil blanket things and an entrenching tool in it.

It was originally in the boot of my car when we had the bad winter up here years back but I think it'd make a decent bug out bag with some small changes.

However what it's used for ATM is for power cuts

Edit: should have said for the torch......I don't tend to sit about in the dark wrapped in a foil blanket, shovel in one hand, cereal bar in the other waiting for the power to come back on :D

@pushki: cheers i shall find that one ;)

@ludedude: i shall tie a load of the snapper things kids annoy adults with in the street to the end. thats at least a bang!

@rocky: believe me thats much more prep than 99% of people have. you would last longer than most with just those extra supplies in the house.

a couple of serious bug out bags is next on the list for this year.
