Can someone advise (with pics if possible) where exactly to find the ICU that controls warning buzzers, entry light timer and so on?
I'm thinking it's on the driver footwell fuse panel, but couldn't spot any likely suspects (without actually removing the kick panel it has to be said).
Also, would said ICU be standard across the range? i.e. can I take one off any scrap 4G and it'll control the same stuff as my BB4?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Thanks for that.
Yep, I have the "proper" PDF with all the links and stuff built into it - which I got off the Honda UK site some years ago before they made it unavailable. Also have the wiring diagram PDFs.
From the manual, it looks like it just sits at the bottom of the fuse panel (passenger side - says "left" in the manual there?), but I read horror stories about how the whole panel has to come out because it's on the back of it and so on (though that may be for 3G cars?). Hence asking here.
It's to do with my other thread regarding my entry light system not working all of a sudden for no apparent reason. Not getting power to the bulb (which I've swapped out for a def. working one from the ashtray and back to check).
I've arrived at the conclusion that either the circuit in the ICU is fried, or the connectors need a clean and re-seat.

no, on 3g cars its just above the carpet behind the center console/stereo area. i know this coz mine buzzes now and then if i have the wipers on intermittent and the door open.
read the second paragraph on the first pic.
remove kick panel
disconnect 8 pin con from icu
remove underdash fusebox
remove icu.....
icu is sandwiched between door hinge pillar and fuse box
