tidy s type what do i have to pay ?

i am fancying an s type after looking at nitins new car.
knowing what nitin paid and since looking to buy said item there aint any for sale atm, should find 1 what is a tidy price to pay ?

£2500 to £4500+ for a fresh A grade import.

nitin got a massive deal as adam was trying to sell a rare car in january. otherwise that car should have got 3k+ easy.

i bought what was a 'good' condition S that needed a bit of tlc but was solid mechanically for £3800 last october.

i bought one that needed a full paint job for 2k a year before that (got it repainted then drove it into a tree

)

get your self 5k together. find a good one and then spend the rest on a full basic service and all belts changed. check the bushes and all other age/wear related bits and go from there.

Bang on the mark James.

I paid £3500 for my Type S. It had engine rebuilt at 60k and it had 74k on it. Reconditioned calipers and small rust on bootlid.
Ran fine for 6000 miles but engine blew.

But all well ends well.

Yes I got a great deal on my S.

There is one for sale on PH, £4k and its white.

not anymore theres not, well at least i cant find it. cheap 4th gen for 395 though
