I would not worry about that

If anything it will feel quicker (once VTEC kicks in Yo!).

will be interesting, as my BM has a vanos that kicks in at 4k.

I think you will be pleasantly supprised. Your 328 is an E36? The only comparable BMW saloon/coupe to lap quicker than me is the M3 (obviously) and an E46 540 (a bit of a barge but mostered the straights). I havent seen an M5 at Knockhill yet

On the road once you add a crappy road surface and a bit of moisture I'm sure you wont be thinking about what car is faster

yes indeed, e36 with some mods to make it that little bit quicker. (remap, manifold, exhaust, filter - made 247bhp on rolling road)

from what i have been reading, the prelude will be just as fast, just not as much torque i guess
