Registering an engine conversion

Post by Rocketrooney » Wed Jan 09, 2013 7:50 pm

So now the Accord is near enough completed it is now time to think about getting it re-registered as a 2.2, I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and what way will I go about doing this.

Thanks

As merc said, grab your logbook (V5C) on the left page in a blue box theres a 'changes to vehicle' section. I think in that part theres a 'engine capacity' box where you write the new engine size, theres also a box to write in the new engine number. Fill both of those out, then sign and date you logbook at the bottom, then send it off to the DVLA address on your logbook.

After a few weeks you'll receive a new logbook in the post with the new changes implemented, also don't forget to let your insurance know the engine size has changed.
