4WS removal

Hi guys,

Im trying to find a guide but ive searched and cant find nothing =( fail. Im going to be removing my FULL 4WS system very soon as im going to 2WS (once the parts arrive)

Any help at all ? :D

ECU in boot, pretty sure the rest you can see! That's as far as my knowledge goes :lol:

You're knowledge base is erm... helpful =p I found the ECU, i wouldnt mind to remove all the wires etc as well that arent needed =(

Does the car have ABS, and if so, are you planning on removing the ABS? This will have a bearing on what you can/cannot remove.

Can i use the bolts from the 4WS rack to secure the 2WS rack ??

do you mean bolts from the 4ws subframe to secure the 2ws subframe?

if so i believe so although i had fresh ones so not 100%

As for the wiring i think you'll have to leave most of it in place then. after removing my 4ws last year i found the wiring harness linked in with the ABS, ended up covering it all and leaving it connected (apart from power) because i didnt want to disturb that lot :oops: .
