Random question....how hard is it to remove the windscreen? I'm in need of a replacement for mine, obviously I know they have to be fitted and bonded in by a professional fitter. I can collect when we swap dashboards (which I can do anytime your free now).

Okay that was a fast response
Get some cheese wire off eBay (windscreen specific stuff). Remove all the trim you can (interior and exterior) so you can see as much of the glass edge as possible. Cut into the windscreen bond/sealant with a knife and feed the wire through, then you can basically just saw all the way around with the wire. You'll need two people ideally but you still need to be careful as you can still break the glass!
I work with glass too
so I'd expect the windscreen to be around 30kg so be careful init.
