yeah they dont have any way of measuring displacement on a rotary engine

yeah the lemans cars had 2 engines pretty much strapped together to make a 2.6cc (yes i know thats an simplification of what they did)

YouTube 4 rotor rx7 and look for the red one on a 1/4 mile, turn the volume up and get your happy time tissues ready

My mate had a Rx8, he got a fuel card from work though else he'd have changed it sharpish as the mpg was shocking

unfortunately, the conversation went like this...

s - oh! cool! (thinking - glad i didn't open the conversation with "hey, don't get an rx8, they're jobby!"

that was about it. think i might wait until it blows up (so about 2 weeks yeah?) before i show him this thread...

he said he looked at s2k's a year ago, but the insurance was much higher than an rx8.
he's got a 57 plate rx8 nemesis, which according to wikipedia has alot of fancy extra gubbins on it like leather, BOSE and the usual fogs etc. 350 made apparently.
says it'll do 0-60 in 7.2
So a H22A8 lude would give it a run for it's money yeah? although perhaps not with me driving it.

Pretty sure I've read the A8/M2P4 is meant to be something like 6.7

Means nothing anyway really! Obviously Lude > RX8.
