Its a replacement, it was just ment as a 'back up' for PUK. But then PUK got a huge spam attack and everyone jumped ship over to here. The Ballbag wrote:So was this forum put in place as a kind of replacement for PUK when that started struggling or was this an existing site you guys just commandeered?
LG is a much better site in most peoples opinions anyway.

Welcome over
If I can offer a bit of advise to a new RWD user, get a set of cheap wheels and ask your local tyre place for a few scrap tyres and get yourself to a drift day and get used to the arse kicking out
You don't need to drift it just learn what to do when it happens
Drift days are about £40 to £80 and are much cheaper than getting it wrong on the road and doing an Edd

Cheers Ammo, I have been looking into drift days actually and the old wheels/tyres is a good idea, i'll look into that. Like I said earlier I have been practicing a little bit on some private land, just finding the edge/limit and getting used to the feel of the car if it does go. The big thing seems to be if you panic a bit and over correct, that's when it gets out of hand and bites you. I can already see why so many of them end up at the scrap yard within the first few months of being purchased.Ammo wrote:Welcome over

Just to check, wasn't it a video of your silver lude on a freaking insane drive back in the day that didn't end so well?
