Would you chaps reccomend i run it on the expensive petrol too then?

should be a simple fix then, just take care when undoing the nuts as the studs could sheer off.

as for fuel... doesnt pay to skimp.

If you have a JDM car you should be using 97RON or higher.

What was the water leak?

your lude is a 94 JDM gen4 import ? so a BB1 2.2 Vtec Si?
ifso they run in Japan on 102 to 104ron the closer you get to this the more your knocksensor will love you ;)

Its a bb4 2.2 vtec jdm, okay ill put the expensive stuff in, an there was a water pipe leaking around the back of the block,

even worse if its a BB4 :lol:
some of the BB1 imports may have been modded to ukdm spec but BB4 was jap only ;)
have you really been running it on 95?

I have, not had it on the road very long only done about 50 miles in it, ill start running it on the expensive stuff then, thanks

It's not that expensive really IMO.

Let's say V-Power is ~10p/L more expensive than regular, that's only £6 on a fill up from empty to 60 litres.

I've run my A8 on both regular and V-Power back-to-back full tanks and the difference in miles per tank was minimal, but it feels like it runs better on the super juice anyway. Something something knock sensor.
