I think you will be more than happy with them Lewis. The ride wasn't brutal, it was stiff, but if you like a set-up like that, then these are ideal. They are not stiff in the sense you wouldn't want to drive the car on the public roads, its more of a "jump in the car and attack every corner at full pelt with a big smile on your face" stiff.
I don't think they are dampening adjustable though. If i were you, i would free of the front 1 i got stuck with, fit them, and see what you think regarding the rear damper with the lower compression. I seriously don't think the other 3 need serviced so would save you a bit time and money. Good thing about them being shortened shock bodies is they are body lemonade easy to remove/refit if you did feel you would want to get them all done.
