After seeing some Preludes at JAE 2012, I decided I preferred it over my Motegi lip. I managed to source one through eBay off a Prelude which was being broken. I paid just £24.00 + £18.00 P&P during October 2012. The reason it was so cheap was because it had multiple areas of damage, so even though it was coincidentally the same colour as my car, it would need repairing and a respray. I was shocked when I received quotes of approximately £300.00 from local body repair shops for the repairs & respray. Instead, my father stripped it down to the bare plastic before repairing the cracks using Kemfix PU-5 FAST. It was subsequently painted during January 2013 costing just £100.00.
For future reference if anyone is interested, the Honda part number is: 08F01-S30-0M00. It's referred to as the JDM or USDM front lip but I think non-European spec lip is a better description as I get the impression that the lip we commonly refer to as the Motegi lip was supplied only in Europe whereas the lip I've recently fitted was supplied everywhere else except Europe. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
When the weather is a bit warmer, I need to use double sided trim fixing tape on the side where it flares out slightly.
