I would love to give it a go mate, unfortunately I'm working in London at the mo :lol: and for the record, I didn't say I doubted what it can do ;) it was only last Saturday that Andy picked up the gearbox (M2S4 btw) that he was telling me about it.

Dyno proof would sort one fact out.
A car that can out accelerate a scooby in 3rd isnt a selling point. Its a standard VTEC Honda fact.
But i get caught out buy 1.8/2.0fsi diesel engined VAG cars all the time. Their bloody low torque kills my Type S.

Well, that was a fun read.

Firstly - Andy, I'm sorry to hear you had to let the car go. I hope you find, or have found, something else that makes you smile when you drive it mate.

Secondly - Stocko, you need to grow up mate. Your first few posts were frankly a ridiculous way to introduce yourself on a forum. If you have Dyno printouts to back up your 236bhp claims then fine, otherwise stop being so surprised you were challenged on it - we all know what the Spoon chip can achieve and it's not that.

stocko1985 if you want to sell the car on the forum I suggest that you find out the particulars of the car, what exact ECU it has etc.., as only that type of info will satisfy the enthusiasts (geeks :geek:) on the forum. Stories of blowing off Subaru's only impresses boy racers on GumTree :roll:

2 things to clear up, there is no Spoon chip for the 5th gen P5P ECU (hence please find out what ECU you have - P13 :? P28, P30, P72 etc.. ;) and how the IAB's are configured to work). All very important info!!! No Prelude will do 130 in 3rd. Even my M2F5 with an unlimted ECU will do 100mph @ ~8.5K in 3rd, you'd struggle even with an H23 gearbox with the long ratio's.

please no one rev to 10k, unless you want the engine to eat your valves

even uprated valvetrain wont rev to 10k, it would need serious work

^^^ it's obd1 converted and doesn't have a rev limiter so is doing about 10,000 rpm @ 130mph. Doubt it'll be doing it for much longer tbh
