im going to have a nosey today as was out with the missses last nite. will try to get pics up used to be abel with me phone but cant remember how i did it :oops: . now my m8 says its comen from top of filter he took it of and the cooler and was saying about there was a threaded bit up inside but with no bolt in it seems bit strange to me as why is it threaded. will have a look today any how and report back.

Mmm aparently the whole oil cooler unit somehow goes and u need to replace the whole lot does that sound right. I would imagine that would be costly.

Doesn't sound right to me :? Oil cooler usually just needs a new o ring.

We have a uk spec engine and box there to with one on it but think she was leaking oil to so noing are luck it would of been from that

Looks like it was the oil filter seal was drokked it was a shitty halfords one. All i done was changed the oil filter lmao. For the money we got it for unreal. There is cool yellow fogs on it in mint condition will get some pics and make for sale thread.

The pipes going to the oil cooler are the coolant lines :lol: .. thats what stabilizes "cools" the oil circulating through the oil filter.
