That's the thing though. How easily could I find all those parts I need these days?mercutio wrote:could be done in a weekend if you have the stuff

you need a h22 flywheel and clutch a h22 slave cylinder and possibly the master cylinder and the h22 gear cables and shifter I am assuming the gear shifter can be made to fit the 3g or the 4g cables will fit a 3g shifter. the pedals will have to come from a manual 3g I suppose I am sure on of the 3g owners will know better than i

And all these H22 parts (flywheel, clutch, slave & master cylinders, etc) will fit on the standard 2.0L Gen 3 engine?mercutio wrote:you need a h22 flywheel and clutch a h22 slave cylinder and possibly the master cylinder and the h22 gear cables and shifter I am assuming the gear shifter can be made to fit the 3g or the 4g cables will fit a 3g shifter. the pedals will have to come from a manual 3g I suppose I am sure on of the 3g owners will know better than i

Quite right Sir. Wasn't sure whether you'd seen that. So if I bought an auto version, in order to convert it to manual I would need to change the engine at the same time it would seem. That could be an epic!mercutio wrote:sorry thought you were dropping a h22 in

not that epic the engine has to come out anyway to do the gearbox change clutch and gearcables so to drop in the h22 already with the box/flywheel/clutch fitted and the mounts would make it easier rather than 2 big jobs you have one

Ahh, I see. Would I need to change anything like the loom or any sensors during the changeover?mercutio wrote:not that epic the engine has to come out anyway to do the gearbox change clutch and gearcables so to drop in the h22 already with the box/flywheel/clutch fitted and the mounts would make it easier rather than 2 big jobs you have one

So is that Jap Spec?honda-hardy wrote:2.0 16v, ba5 137 bhp standard. 127bhp on dyno, but as rich at paw confirmed is dificult to get an accurate reading on an auto.
tbh it will need the same welding as nathan had on his. so both lower rear sill and jacking point areas.
