That's the thing though. How easily could I find all those parts I need these days?

you need a h22 flywheel and clutch a h22 slave cylinder and possibly the master cylinder and the h22 gear cables and shifter I am assuming the gear shifter can be made to fit the 3g or the 4g cables will fit a 3g shifter. the pedals will have to come from a manual 3g I suppose I am sure on of the 3g owners will know better than i

And all these H22 parts (flywheel, clutch, slave & master cylinders, etc) will fit on the standard 2.0L Gen 3 engine?

Quite right Sir. Wasn't sure whether you'd seen that. So if I bought an auto version, in order to convert it to manual I would need to change the engine at the same time it would seem. That could be an epic! :? I'd have to be WELL prepared for that.

not that epic the engine has to come out anyway to do the gearbox change clutch and gearcables so to drop in the h22 already with the box/flywheel/clutch fitted and the mounts would make it easier rather than 2 big jobs you have one

Ahh, I see. Would I need to change anything like the loom or any sensors during the changeover?

Oh, & ECU

tbh it will need the same welding as nathan had on his. so both lower rear sill and jacking point areas.
So is that Jap Spec?
