Civic Suspension questions

Post by nitin_s1 » Thu Oct 31, 2013 4:57 pm

Not Prelude but Civic questions.. :P

Are the Prelude VTI brakes straight swap on them as they have tiny brakes compared to ours?

And is the 5 Stud conversion easy to do on them? What car does the conversion come from ? DC2?

I already have a 5G VTI brake set-up..

DC2 and EK9 Type-R, hubs are the direct 5 stud swap..

Newkid was helpful via PMs 8-)

IF EG or EK basically 92-2000 it will have either 242 on the front or 262, if 242 the prelude brakes wont swap over unless the hubs are swapped, the 262 will accept the prelude calipers and carriers no problem, you use mg zs180 282 discs which are a straight fit onto the 4x100 hubs they have.

If your wanting a 5 stud swap its ek9 or ukdm/jdm 98 spec itr.

Hope this helps bud.
