Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

New Deer this morning. The bairn was out making miniature snowmen at quarter past seven. :)

Wow snow already. We had a heavy frost this morning. It took me a while to defrost the Lude.

It's sunny here in London right now. Cold but sunny.

Bring on the snow, I say!

I want a good reason to own a permanent 4WD car - snow has to be one of the best! (Coming a close second is the ability to boot it in torrential rain etc)

It'll be bad enough with traction on a hot, dry day, let alone in sub-optimal conditions!

What, snow already for you guys!

I knew winter was here when my new Mazda 6's battery on its last legs has now failed to start my car after a long 4 day weekend of sitting and doing nothing. Yay, a new battery. Not like I have Xmas presents to buy or anything!

In the grand scheme of weather though, the UK has it pretty damn easy, so we 'should'nt' moan (even though it is our favorite pastime!).

"Already"?

I was thinking it was pretty late this year - it's nearly the end of November!

Speaking of which, 30 years ago tonight I went to see Ozzy Osbourne at the Glasgow Apollo, before he was a TV "celebrity".

I hadn't checked the train times out for Saturday nights, so ended up sleeping in a disused lift shaft in an old Glasgow tenement. And it was snowing then, too. Actually, I tell a lie - I knew the train times damn well. Because I'd gone down the week before to see Dio at the Apollo too, and only got as far back as Dundee before the train terminated. That was fun, walking the streets of Dundee all night. Not.

Worth it, though. :)
