I have never seen those map lights before! Are they standard 4G kit?

I do believe that @confused fitted these when he rebuilt the car. IIRC they are from a Mitsubishi Galant.

Close, they're actually from a Mitsubishi Carisma (95-99 model)

Finally fixed a little niggle that's been annoying me.

The interior lights didn't come on when the passenger door was opened.

Removed the switch, cleaned all electric contacts, reassmbled and fitted. Job's a good 'un

Over time, these have gone cloudy so decided to give them a spruce up.

Used Meguiars Paint Cleaner (Step 1 Polish) to restore, then topped off with GTechniq C2 Crystal Laquer which has high UV blockers, which should keep them looking good for much longer.

Here's a 50/50, didn't get any completed shots as light faded.

What other products are like the lacquer you used? Never heard of lacquer before except as a clear coat for paint
