I've found the ultimate h22 swap guide and the honda engine swaps books should I not read one at all?

It's simply a case of unplugging/unbolting stuff, and plugging it back in the same place on the new engine!

Spend the money you'd have otherwise spent on books on buying tea, coffee, beer and snacks for those of us who will help you!

will be aimed at civics buddy but get them there is always good stuff in them. I always tend to find books like haynes manuals seem to put you off by not giving simple instructions or decent pics and i hate the phrase refitting is a reverse of the removal

Just to muddy the water a little, if this is a car that you intend to keep I would look at doing some things to the engine and gearbox that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to do while in place.

Timing belt
New clutch perhaps?

For the cost of these parts it seems almost silly not to do them while you have the opportunity IMO.

You will need a few replacement parts and fluids to complete the swap as well. PAS fluid, gearbox fluid, new drive shaft set rings are recommended etc.........
