Toothpaste cap:

Twist anticlockwise until it comes off.
Twist clockwise until it doesn't come off.

Engine:

Undo everything until it will come out.
Redo everything until it wont come out.

I have no doubt that would actually be the case. TBH it's not something I would even consider attempting on my own. Give me some chemicals and I'll make you a cake but give me a spanner and tell me to start undoing stuff and well... get ready to hold your sides

Spend the money you'd have otherwise spent on books on buying tea, coffee, beer and snacks for those of us who will help you!
That's really nice cheers pal, my knowledge is very limited and I do want to learn so I can help others.
Although my brews are good lol

Merlin wrote:Just to muddy the water a little, if this is a car that you intend to keep I would look at doing some things to the engine and gearbox that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to do while in place.

Timing belt
New clutch perhaps?

For the cost of these parts it seems almost silly not to do them while you have the opportunity IMO.

You will need a few replacement parts and fluids to complete the swap as well. PAS fluid, gearbox fluid, new drive shaft set rings are recommended etc.........
Ok cool good tp know I suppose I should compile a list of all the things I need
