:hurr:

Oddly enough, nearly bought a Sony thing for £80 last night, but wanted something cheaper I could use in the bathroom.

Questions for the OP;

What size is it? Couldn't see any dimensions on the web page.
What it the sound quality like if it is placed in lower combat trouser pockets?

Unless it's sitting on something, you get less bass. So your second question can probably be answered as 'not as good as on a table'. It is 5cm tall and 6 across.
Did see that, it's not the same unit though. I reckon the case may be generic but mine has no volume control or tf slot.

Coming from Mr "Bluetooth audio doesn't carry the bitrate to have a good enough sound so I won't use one" :lol:

.......ordered one for myself now :twisted:
I still stand by that - I'd never use this to "listen" to music, but as something in the background and portable, something I can throw around in the garage, I can justify getting one.

It's arrived today, I've got it paired to my phone, and I've even stuck an NFC tag on it to allow me to enable/disable bluetooth by just tapping it against my phone :)

What do you think? Far from 'perfect' sound, but for the price size I'm really impressed! Try standing it on the lid of an empty wheely bin 8-)

I've been on the phone since it arrived, so haven't done anything other than unbox and pair!

Mine arrived today. Packs a fair bit of punch for it's size. Will be fine for the back garden as music to lounge to etc, but would be drowned out by a small gathering (although wasn't expecting it to be a party speaker anyway, not at that size!).

Worth the price anyway, just hope the speaker can stand the abuse from my musical taste.

Just sat on my desk in my office at home, it's sounding pretty good, and can certainly fill the room with sound to a reasonable level, whilst still staying fairly clear, certainly not distorting on my quick sample selection.

Turning the volume down, the clarity reduces, but that's often the way with these things.

It seems OK from first impressions - and something that will certainly improve the audio quality of my laptop when I'm away with work in a hotel room and want to watch anything.

Good to know mine wasn't a fluke then. Ridiculous little thing for the size and cost! As I said, if you're in the garden, sit it on a wheely bin - gives some decent bass :lol:
