Yea if it's a 5th gen ecu maybe??? The 4th gen ecu didn't have immobiliser. But the 5th does. So yea, would prolly req the ecu coding with the cars immobiliser unit!!

No no. That will wipe it completely. It would req a honda HDS diagnostic system to "learn" the immob unit to the ecu. You may be able to get the immob disarmed in the ecu, but i would ask Scott at H-tune about that. The red key is a learn key used when a dealer learns new keys, or recodes keys/immob units.

GOT IT!!!!
Needed to swap the immobiliser control unit from the lude to the civic. Then use the lude key in the immobiliser sensor with the civic key in the ignition and hey presto.
Sealed up the vac leaks too but have got an idling issue to resolve new, it hunts below about 1500 rpm and dies if off throttle. What's next? Lol
In about 20 miles north of Cardiff. Thanks for your help so far

Ah see, I didn't suggest that because I didn't think you had the lude immob control unit and key. I should of asked
. Good going chap
As for the idle issue, i can only assume an idle valve control problem
