I always thought it was a JDM parking aid pole, but i have Googled them and they are completely different. Is it anything to do with Honda or is it something aftermarket?

Thanks

Looks aftermarket to me, looks like a normal radio aerial!!! It defo doesn't look OEM tho.

If it has internal wires that lead to the front cabin,, mobile 'phone. My 3g had a small aerial glued to the rear quarterlight glass, came off with the use of a heat gun

It's an aftermarket Accusatory Finger. It's designed to inculcate a mild paranoia in Seagulls and other birdlife approaching the car from the rear to prevent aerial faecal deposits.

They're not usually very succesful, to be honest.

TBH I'd guess that the leccy aerial broke and they've fitted the travesty to replace it. Needed a flat surface, since it's designed for roof mount, and whacked it on the bootlid.
