Aftermarket con rods?
Well this is the story, got the car fully mapped yesterday after the engine rebuild and run in period (2x oil changes) and everything was running really sweet and then it started to knock. Mechanic looked at it today and says it sounds like a small end bearing has gone. I replaced the main bearings with ACL ones but not the small end so that's probably the culprit, the one weak link in the engine :/ but it also has standard con rods with high compression Pistons, do I need aftermarket con rods too? Because I don't want to rebuild it with new small bearings just for a con rod to break....
