If you go on Amazon and search for flywheel tool have a look at those. There are some laser branded ones that fit in the starter motor hole. Bit of a pain but if you have to do the job on your own they might help. They are meant for Ford, Vauxhall and Citroen, but one of then should fit. There are also some on a handle for an assistant to help you with. Again these are designed for Vauxhall but should do the job.

I've just used a thick flat blade screwdriver and stick it into the inspection hole in to the flywheel
